Root Explorer test failed

root, cyanogenmod
I have a MT3G 32B running CM 5.0.8 Test 3 and when I try to enable Root Explorer in Estrongs File Explorer and I give it root permission it says "Sorry, test failed. This feature cannot run on your phone." This setting worked in 5.0.7 stable. Any ideas?

And the same thing occurs with CM 6.0.0 RC1. I've tried both Cyan and HiAPK options and neither work. This is on a Nexus One.

I've also run several CM 6.0.0 nightlies and it's worked on all of them. Currently running nightly from 0727
